Vegetarian line of Gungo and Red Peas Soup.

The SRC cognizant of consumer trends, based on preferences and health needs, is developing speciality products. Work has already started on - low sugar, low cholesterol, fat free, low salt/ salt free foods and food for diabetics.

The SRC recently developed and transferred a line of Jamaica peas soups to a local group of agro-processors. These nutritious, delicious and tasty soups, made from local raw materials and spices are currently marketed under a private label. They are available in convenient packages, in the form of -

• red peas with meat
• red peas without meat
• gungo peas with meat
• gungo peas without meat
